I've been drooling over beautiful Scandinavian blogs even more than usual this week. As well as my usual haunts I've discovered a couple of new ones and my mind is swimming with white and bright airy spaces, teamed with pale wood and elegant styling. I never tire of this aesthetic, however today I thought I'd look to something a bit different for inspiration. Going back through some of my browser bookmarks, I found this incredible London loft apartment. Formerly a factory, it was designed by New Zealand-born architect William Tozer and featured in Home NZ Magazine.

The hallway gallery is what initially caught my eye. An impressive art collection adds personality and interest to the minimalist space.

In keeping with the origins of the building, the raw concrete ceilings have been left exposed. While giving the apartment an industrial feel, they also provide a sharp contrast to the sleek modern interior.

The terrace wraps around both sides of the apartment providing a view of the London skyline.

The industrial style is accentuated in the kitchen with the use of stainless steel and exposed rangehood pipes. What a fantastic choice, placing Caravaggio pendant lights over the island. Designed by Cecilie Manz, they've long been a favourite of mine, and I've featured them on the blog a couple of times before.

Dark timber continues in the master bedroom with the addition of an ensuite. This lovely architectural feature is particularly striking against the concrete ceiling.
